| Guernsey Aero Club extension to club house |

Guernsey Aero Club are delighted to announce that the major extension to their club house is now complete.
The new facilities include an extended training room, office and bar area plus a wide balcony with tables and chairs, from where members and their friends can watch the airfield activity. From the balcony which is very close to the main taxiway, there are views of both approaches and the full length of the runway.
Gary Elson, Aero Club chairman, said "this is a wonderful new facility for the Aero Club and the membership have worked hard to make it happen. We now have a clubhouse that we can be proud".
Pilots are invited to experience the facilities for themselves at the 39th Guernsey Air Rally September 10 - 12th, which also includes an optional navigational competition around France on the and a "World Party" themed Hangar Ball on the 11th.
