UK-EU Exit: changes to pilot licences and training |
Individuals who started their theorical examinations with an EASA Member State and transfer to complete remaining examinations should note:
- those who have taken examinations under ECQB06 and ECQB07 with an EASA Member State will take UKQB06;
- those who have taken examinations under ECQB2020 will take UKQB2020,
- individuals cannot change syllabus.
TheCAA have also corrected a typo on the microsite. It remains that any student pilot who transferred to the EU system half-way into their training and who wishes to apply for a UK licence will have to take UK theoretical examinations for any training taken after 31 December 2020.
