Revised airspace change process (CAP 1616) - Webinar Registration

Earlier this month, the UK Civil Aviation Authority published our revised airspace change process, known as CAP 1616. The update to the document simplifies the guidance, improves the process for sponsors and those affected by airspace change, and makes the requirements at each stage clearer.

To help stakeholders understand the revisions, what they mean for them and the background to the review, we are holding a webinar on Tuesday 28 November from 2pm – 3.15pm.

The webinar will include information on:

  • the background and context for the CAP 1616 review
  • key changes and updates to the document
  • information on the transition arrangements

There will be an opportunity for attendees to submit questions and for these to be raised after the presentation.

AOPA have already told the CAA that CAP 1616 doesn’t work for GA and that it is not proportional to our needs, yet again breaking the commitment to GA.
