Miscellaneous Information:

Nigel is an unrestricted FI on Aeroplanes (including war birds) and is also an Instrument Rating and Aerobatics Rating Instructor based at Earls Colne Airfield. He is also a Flight Examiner, Ground Instructor and Ground Examiner.

Nigel has over 30 years of very relevant flying experience in General Aviation. He is a flight and ground instructor and examiner for initial licences and ratings, and instructs for additional ratings, and your own experience enhancement and self-development. He is Head of Training for Anglian Flight Centres – a CAA Approved Training Organisation (ATO). He also holds Instrument, Night and Aerobatics Instructor ratings, and teaches on all types of modern and vintage aircraft from open-cockpit to glass-cockpit (GARMIN, AVIDYNE, MGL) for both VFR and IFR.

As well as training for the basic licenses and additional formal ratings including WARBIRD flight training, Nigel produces his own additional flying courses such as the Advanced PPL, Formation and Short Strip courses plus other training for non-pilots such as the Co-Pilot and FROM-FEAR-2-FLIGHT courses. Visit the website http://www.easyppl.com for more information.

Similarly, he produces and provides his own ground courses to a high professional standard that emphasises best practice, great tips and techniques, as well as the required theoretical knowledge (see https://www.easypplgroundschool.com).

With a total time of over 6500 hours, and over 4500 instructional hours, on a huge variety of aircraft, you won't find a better instructor who has a relaxed and welcoming style to ensure you get the very best out of your time spent in the air. You won't just be taught the flying; you'll be instilled with airmanship and confidence in your own ability. Put simply, you will become a better pilot.

He is also an active aerobatic display Pilot Flying many different types for aircraft owners and organisations, so you may well see him on the air show scene.
